I got inspired to finish a song from a while back. It's pretty dorky, but that is the nature of me recording rap songs in my bedroom. Another heartfelt love song, but this time dedicated to all those artsy beezys. Words by me, beat by DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Yesterday morning I woke up with a missed call from a friend, from 3:30 AM. Turns out that he and some other friends, after having left the bars, tried for a while to find my latest rap song on the internet. They called to find out where it was at.

I've started work on a new project. Or maybe I've started and finished. Depends on whether I come up with new material anytime soon.
I'm writing a standup comedy act and recording it before a live studio audience in my bedroom by myself. So far I have three jokes.

This is my family's dog (below), Lilly, formerly Little Foot. My friends Kath and Jane rescued her from an awful living situation. They crawled through an unlocked window and stole her. Little Foot needed a new home, so, with a blessing, I took her to California and she's lived with my family since.
It was a long 'goodbye.'
Lilly needed a playmate so my folks got Dudley (below). Dudley is a good dog. He is best known for destroying only the most sentimental objects.

I heard some Dave Chappelle stand-up. He was talking about The Tenderloin, an area of San Francisco. Of it, he said, "I've never seen crack smoked so casually!"new year's in the tenderloin (2006)
